The dialogical aside

This kind of aside is based on the convention that it is not heard by the characters on stage. The acoustical implausibility can be reduced by the spatial orientation of the speakers: Figures participating in the dialogical aside at the front of the of stage well away from the other figures. Dialogical asides are generally motivated by conspirational dialogue or dialogue in an eavesdropping situation.
