Ethos-strategy

This strategy is based on efforts to establish the reliability and credibility of the speaker who is then able to develop his own moral integrity or factual authority into the main argument. An example of this in Sweeney Todd is the contest between Pirelli and Todd which will be discussed in the next chapter.
